Through tennis, academic enrichment, character development and healthy living, AK provides the necessary support to promote holistic growth preparing under-resourced youth for long-term success.
Money is the biggest driver of early participation. That is why Advantage Kids community and afterschool programs are offered at free or low cost to the participants ensuring that youth K-12 around the state is served.
AK's life skills are central to building the characters of children in New Hampshire.
Sport has the power to provide a universal framework for learning character strengths, and contributes to the development of social, emotional and character development...the soft skills needed to grow into thoughtful, ethical, and moral adults.
Positive Attitude
A positive attitude is a mental state that expects the best to happen. It is actually, positive thinking – the habit of believing that things will turn out well and not allowing negative thoughts and doubts to disturb this belief. Positive thinking is an optimistic outlook, mindset, and view of life that is upbeat and hopeful.
Self Control
Controlling one’s emotions, behavior, and desires in order to obtain some goal or reward in the future; practicing restraint and discipline; using willpower and “holding back” now for a future purpose.
Respect
Treating others with dignity and esteem (good opinion or approval); acknowledging people’s feelings and interests and showing them courtesy; practicing politeness and good manners; playing the game by the rules and how it was intended to be played.

Sportsmanship
Competing with fairness, honest play; displaying respect, humility, class and good character towards your opponent and all others involved; ethical behavior and integrity in and around sports.
